Action Items & Opportunities

1. BY 6 PM ET TODAY: Submit Senate Testimony! Policy Director, Chris Melfi ([email protected]), will host virtual office hours until 5 pm ET if you would like support.
2. Awareness Month Media Templates Available! Shared messaging during Awareness Month helps us promote a united movement for FASD. Access media templates from the following links.

3. Register your media/comms staff to the “Where You’re At: FASD Awareness Month Media”support session on May 28th at 3:00 PM EST. This session is to support you and your organization in using the provided media templates:
   • Accessing Awareness Month Media
   • Saving and Modifying Media
   • Personalizing Media from Templates
   • Understanding Hashtags and Tagging
   • Q&A
4. Register for Impact Week 2026, September 27-30th in Washington, DC.

   • Affiliate Mini-Grants for Impact Week now OPEN! We are happy to announce that $700 mini-grants are now available to eligible Affiliates who attend FASD Impact Week this September 27th – 30th in Washington, D.C. Read eligibility requirements and apply here.
5. The State Advocacy Toolkit is now LIVE. Click here for more information.
6. Nominations for the Emeriti Circle are open. Email nominations to Emma Baldwin by June 1st ([email protected]). Please send the person’s name and reason for nominating, as well as an email where we can reach out to them.

Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be on May 18th, from 3:00 – 4:00 pm EST. At our next meeting, we will host some breakout “program huddles”.
